The Composer’s Voice and Some Subatomic Particles

My friend David Wolfson and I have been talking about collaborating for years now. In that time, I struggled to find the right topic for us to explore. Then it occurred to me that David would be the PERFECT person to ask to write songs relating to physics. He loves physics, I love physics, and there are NO classical songs about physics. Unbelievable, I know. David latched on to the idea and wrote the most wonderful lyrics and music for a set calledĀ The Particle Songs, five songs about the secret lives of subatomic particles. The lyrics and music are refreshingly entertaining while the composition is subtly sophisticated and clever. I know you will enjoy them as much as I do, so you should come hearĀ the premiere of the very first two songs!
